Background: 

Sarah Beauregard is an industrial security consultant specializing in assisting companies with the facility clearance process, analyzing complex ownership, and ensuring 32 CFR Part 117 compliance. Ms. Beauregard has extensive experience helping companies with complex structures be successfully processed for a facility clearance. She is currently assisting companies in building and maintaining compliant security programs.

 

Prior to this, Ms. Beauregard worked as a Senior Industrial Security Specialist for the Facility Clearance Branch, now Vetting and Triage Unit, for twelve years.  She saw the branch through multiple restructuring and growth from a staff of four to a staff of 20+.  In addition to training staff, Ms. Beauregard participated in many agency working groups and projects to include establishing the NAESOC and creation of a job aid and training on mergers and acquisitions. After leaving DCSA in 2023, Ms. Beauregard worked under the Department of Homeland Security in Industrial Security for a year.  In this position she worked with Contracting Officers and Program Managers on creation of DD 254’s and acted as a liaison between companies with agency contracts and procurement staff to ensure protection of classified information. 

 

Ms. Beauregard started her security career in 2008 as an Industrial Security Specialist in the Capital Region. She ensured compliance with the National Industrial Security Program for over 100 companies at a time as well as led multi-disciplined teams on large industry assessments.  She built relationships with industry partners through participating and briefing at events to include Industrial Security Awareness Counsels and Small Business events.
